Let noble thoughts come
from every direction

Poola School is a Montessori-rooted school where learning is individual, childhood is unhurried, and each child grows into who they already are.

The Poola School seal — five interwoven petals
The emblem

Five petals. Five senses.
One centre.

The five petals of our emblem are the five senses — physical and cognitive — through which a child becomes aware of the world, and of their Self. The loop that binds them, without beginning or end, is learning as a continuous process.

At its centre sits the Best Self — found through continuous learning and an open mind. That is the whole school in one mark, under a name, Poola, that means flowers.

The journey

One child, told in three chapters

Chapter I

Roots

The first years follow the Montessori way: a prepared environment, materials a child can hold and master, and the freedom to choose real work. Independence is not taught here — it is practised, every morning, on a small green mat.

Chapter II

Growth

As children grow, learning stays individual. Our Individualized Learning Program lets each child move at the pace of their own understanding — stretched where they are strong, supported where they are still becoming.

Chapter III

Bloom

By the senior years, the quiet confidence built in a thousand small choices turns outward — into the sciences and the arts, robotics and sport, and the character to carry all of it with grace.

The campus

Room to grow, in every sense

Set among trees and frangipani in Chokkanahalli, the six-acre campus gives childhood what it needs most — light, air and space.

8:15

The bus arrives

The yellow bus turns in under the portico, and the day begins the way it has since 2014 — with a hundred small hellos.

8:45

The mat unrolls

In the Montessori rooms, each child chooses real work — and gets on with it, unhurried.

11:30

Ideas take shape

Up in the senior classrooms, the blackboards fill — physics, essays, proofs, questions.

1:00

The field roars

Ninety metres of grass, one ball, and every Panther in the school with an opinion about it.
